On the Final Day of Christmas…

Wednesday, 12.29.2010

God is pretty glorious.

In spite of all the hardships, he still manages to bring about some form of joy for my family this Christmas. In dealing with a family emergency, we have all, by a fluke of luck, landed in the same city at the same time all at once for about 24 hours. And it just so happened to be Christmas day. Ho ho ho!

We took full advantage of our day together by indulging in a rare entire family portrait segment (courtesy of an excellent photog).

On the final day of Christmas, my true God gave to me….

5 Aunts a hugging

And also tugging

9 Cousins Jumping

And also laughing

And a grandma prettier than a pear tree!

Merry Christmas, everyone.

*Notes: Yes, I did go crazy with Photoshop brushes and yes, we do look like that after days of staying at the hospital and waking up at the crack of dawn and eating iHop pancake breakfasts. And oh definitely yes, your prayers for my family will be much appreciated.

God bless.

JJ, this so beautifully and accurately captures how tight-knit your family is. I’m glad you shared. It’s a great reminder that we should embrace our blessings to get us through hardships. I tend to think that these moments truly reveal how great people are and how great they are together. I’m positive he’s very proud and very happy to see this. Praying for all of you.

I have this problem. I have a need to share with the world my passions and interests and hope that they will also enjoy it. Hence, this blog is born- to showcase some of the things I'm most fascinated with. Most of the posts relate to the media as it relates to me. (Blame the early twenties neurosis of thinking the world revolves around you). (More..)
