When Kelly Li asks you to be in one of his productions, you don’t say no. You just don’t.
This is the same guy that has won film awards up the wazoo, done cool gigs for MTV, and is as ambitious as he is talented as he is NICE.
So I was extremely honored when Kelly sat me down in a San Gabriel coffee shop one day and asked me to be his short for the Interpretations Film Festival. Not to play “waitress #1,” or the funny best friend but to actually be the ingenue, the female lead, the love interest.
Um, have you seen me? I Janice Goofy Jann cannot play the ingenue. I am too tall, too awkward, too quirky, too loud, too broad, too un-primpy, too un-pensive to play the ingenue (and yes, every time I type ingenue, I will type ingenue.)
Or can I?
I don’t know. I tried. I’m still a little green at this whole acting thing so bare with me. Hope you guys enjoy the film and please send good vibes Kelly’s way if you like it! And even if you don’t, be kind. I’m sensitive, I’m fragile, I’m an actor.
Kelly, it was truly a pleasure working with you, thanks for bearing all my awkward, clumsy, sleepy ways (in filming and in real life). The future’s going to be grand. 
BTW: A testament to my amazing acting abilities. This is how I really sleep. It’s how ingenues really sleep too, right?

Wow, that was a neat short film… Considering how short it was, I really enjoyed it. Two things, first I was shocked at one scene and second, I like the slap which changed into the next scene.
