For All My B*Tches And H*es
My friend wanted me to write a post about her. Apparently, the other one I had penned wasn’t good enough.
I’ve always been a pushover so here you go, WiseChild, here you go.
This is a post dedicated to all my homegirls out there. All my chicas and my girlies, my compadres and my sistahs. All my (*insert other slangs for “girlfriends” that I do not know).
Girlfriends are a truly blessed thing. I’ve always been a girl’s girl. Growing up, I remember I was immensely jealous of those who were known as a “guy’s girl” because they just always had an ease with these foreign creatures known as “boys” that I’ve never had. How can they just hang like that? They make it look so easy! Meanwhile, I took my own skills at navigating the planet of Venus for granted, capable of befriending this girl and that girl with an open ear and a “that’s so cute” compliment (no, but I really do think your shoes are cute!)
I really do take my ease for making girlfriends for granted. Whereas other girls have had the misfortune of having girlfriends who are always jealous of them or backstabs them, for most of my life, I’ve had a solid group of gals to turn to in tough times and not-so-tough times. Yep, that, added onto the fact that my family mostly consists of strong, vibrant women, definitely makes me a “girl’s girl.” (Not a girly girl, mind you. I can wear jeans and drink beer with the best of them.)
Yep, so as much as I worship my family and adore my guy pals, I believe I truly would not be who I am today, quirks and all, without my girlfriends.

I have this problem. I have a need to share with the world my passions and interests and hope that they will also enjoy it.
