Pop Stars, Pop Tarts

I’ve talked about  Joseph Vincent before, haven’t I? Amazingly talented acoustic artist who went on Ellen and won a bunch of money?

Decided to talk to Joseph a bit more for Audrey Magazine, getting some insight into this budding heartthrob. My pal, Carmen provided the photos. The session wasn’t as awkward as the picture above would indicate.

Joseph and I have some close ties-namely my sis, Jessica. So Jess and their mutual friends all decided to tag along for our interview/photo shoot, letting loose a barrel of laughter and fun for the afternoon.

After some shooting fun, we went to check out the free Bruno Mars concert at the Grove.  Bruno killed it, exuding charisma, charm and plenty of star power. I hope he sorts out his whole caught with drugs thing ’cause I am so over the whole talented stars ruining their lives and careers with addiction act.  You cannot go down with Lindsay, Bruno!

After the excellent show, a very enthusiastic crowd started to leave the Grove’s courtyard.  However, after one very loud “OMG THAT’S JOSEPH VINCENT FROM YOUTUBE” by none other than my sister, they turned their attention to the other singer.

This was my first time personally experiencing the fandom of a Youtube star at a regular ol’ public place.  Even when I went to Disneyland with the Wong Fu crew, I had not experienced the swarming.  It was surreal. And supercool.
