More Munn Madness

Oh Munn, don't look so sad. Your Audrey spread was an internet sensation!

I would have to say that our Spring cover was a success! Olivia Munn is a Hollywood It Girl right now and after passing the pdf files of the story to her publicists, our story content somehow leaked to Just Jared. (No complaints here. We’re grateful for the publicity.)

At first, I was thinking of keeping the feature under wraps until the issue has been on the stands for a couple of weeks but since they’re all over the internet now (thanks to the other JJ), might as well plop it on here for your viewing pleasure.

“Nobody wants to be un-liked. You want people to respect you. It’s really annoying, those people who go, ‘I just want to do art.’ Really? ’Cause why aren’t you doing community theatre in Missouri? … I think once everybody is honest with themselves on what they’re searching for, you can break down what truly matters at the end of the day.”

“Over the last year, I’ve dated guys that, if people knew, would be on the cover of magazines. But they don’t find out because I say, ‘hey, would you like to go to Valencia? Some people go to restaurants that are so popular. They say it’s really good food. You’re like, ‘what food is worth that?’ The lobster ceviche will be just as good in a to-go box.”

“I believe in the energy you put out there. If you just keep putting it out there and then if it all goes away, well, as long as I’ve been working hard and I’ve been respectful to myself, my friends, my family, then I’ve won and I’ll feel good about that. I just hope it doesn’t.”

We made Just Jared!

On handling fame: “I feel like I’ve been given a lot and I try to say thank you. The only thing I ask of myself is to try to keep my personal life personal. I will take as many pictures as you want, I will try to answer every single question under the sun, and the reason I’m doing that is so you’ll realize that I just have to keep something for myself.”

And various other blogs like MTV! It’s really funny how certain voices can spin one quote way out of proportion. Just based on the few quotes published out on blogsphere from our story, people have this set image of who Olivia Munn is.  I chatted with her for nearly 5 hours total and I still have no idea who she is! I only have the pieces that she gave me and even then, I couldn’t fit everything into 1500 words. That’s the way it is with all celebrities and all human beings. We’re complex, multifaceted creatures, yO. Don’t let a small piece influence your overall taste of the pie.
