So Jelly!
My sister, Jessica Jann is so freakin’ cute. If she weren’t my sister, I’d be green with envy at the awesome life she’s having and all the blessings she’s had.
She’s young, she’s beautiful, she’s charming, and she booked a commercial for one of the top food chains in Hong Kong.
Translation for those who don’t understand my sister’s crazy Canto:
girl: Hey wanna eat lunch?
guy: Nah, I’m eating a homecooked meal
girl is pissed and walks away
guy: (voiceover. describes some delicious food…)
girl: Eh? That’s your homecooked meal?
guy: See you at Cafe de Coral!
(If this is by no means close to the actual translation, will you let me know? Either my Canto is slacking or their Canto is way bad)
The commercial is adorable and she’s paired with a super hunky guy and…AND…AND… they do so well in the ad spot that the company calls her and the guy back for ANOTHER commercial! It’s like a commercial soap opera! <3
guy: Mary!
girl: (voiceover) He doesn’t know what I like
guy: You like to eat…(some weird foods I don’t understand)
girl slams flowers in guy’s face
girl: (voiceover) meat is meat, but at cafe de coral, meat is a juicy steak
guy and girl pulls up to cafe de coral
girl: hey you knew!
guy: we’re meeting at cafe de coral, right?
girl: cute giggle*
And here are my cousins (more importantly my cousin Cissy) standing next to my future hubby, Takeshi Kaneshiro. Once again, if she were not related to me by blood, I’d be jelly! (I really like using the word jelly these days…)
