The Rebirth

Sunday, 04.24.2011

So many people feel like they can’t move forward because of their past.  Once a gossip, always a gossip. Once an alcoholic, always an alcoholic. Once a slut, always a slut.

The process of becoming someone you’ve always wanted to be is not far from your finger’s grasps. But what happens if looking into yourself to find that strength is not enough? You really, really want to change but you can’t get past your old habits? Look up.

“For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.”
~1 John 5:4

I follow Christ–I believe that Jesus Christ rose from the dead to eradicate us of our sins.

“Then go quickly and tell his disciples that he has risen from the dead, and behold, he is going before you to Galilee; there you will see him. See, I have told you.”
~Matthew 28:7

Once you understand that, what’s a *little addiction problem or trust issue?

“For nothing will be impossible with God.”
~Luke 1:37

I’m still learning to overcome my past. Still trying to be molded, sharpened and smoothed.  It’s a lifelong process but I’ve a good reminder I can do it. :) You can too.

Happy Easter.

I have this problem. I have a need to share with the world my passions and interests and hope that they will also enjoy it. Hence, this blog is born- to showcase some of the things I'm most fascinated with. Most of the posts relate to the media as it relates to me. (Blame the early twenties neurosis of thinking the world revolves around you). (More..)
